Responsibilities:

* Plan and implement Competency Based Assessment and Certification services for Engineers and Non-Executive Technical (NET) staff of PETRONAS Group wide.
* Manage and monitor the maintenance of the administer PETRONAS Certificate of Competency and certification database systems to enable accurate and reliable data.
* Analyze data on technicians and operators competency status and then forecast / plan the requirements for certification of staff competencies in line with PETRONAS and statutory requirements.

* Establish good working relationship with relevant government institutions (e.g. Energy Commission) effectively facilitate statutory requirements and certification of INSTEP programs and services.
* Manage and coordinate examination / assessment / verification results and Panel of Examiners / Assessors / Verifiers recommendations for consolidation and further submission / reporting to relevant authorities within PETRONAS and statutory bodies.
* Consolidate Board Of Examiner decisions / recommendations on the results of competency assessment / examination for further submission to statutory certification bodies. Liaise with Certification Bodies on issuance on restricted "PETRONAS only" Certificate Of Competency to successful candidates.
* Review and recommend improvement related to work system, processes, procedures and guidelines to enhance the competency assessment and certification system.
* Periodically evaluate program / assessment feedbacks and rectify / recommend action plan to address areas of concern so as to improve the quality and integrity of future services and enhance operational excellence.
* Observe PMTSB HSE policies and procedures and participate in HSE activities / initiatives organized by the company.

Requirements:

* Ph.D. / Master’s / Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/ Electronics/ Communication Engineering or equivalent with minimum 2 years working experience or equivalent.
* Committed & aggressive individuals with strong personal interaction skills are encouraged to apply.
* Strong technical knowledge to support production in manufacturing & testing of quality products.
* Able to coordinate and implement new product releases or transfers in a timely
* Good knowledge in RF will be an added advantage

SENIOR / PROCESS ENGINEERS

Responsibilities:

* Responsible for the manufacturing of highly sophisticated communication products for the professional and mission critical markets in the commercial, government and industrial segments
* Work with RND to manage for the success implementation of NPR.
* Perform line balancing, improve productivity, reduce cycle time and reduce CoPQ in production.
* Generate and maintain the documents such as manufacturing BOM, Engineering Change Order (ECO), Manufacturing Process Specification (MPS) and pilot report.
* Apply sound engineering knowledge in the trouble shooting product failure, produce failure analysis report and perform corrective action.

Requirements:

* Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, in Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineering, with a Master's Degree being an added advantage.
* Knowledge and experience in specific areas such as plastic parts, sheet metal stampings, castings, rubber and elastomers, latest display technology and electro-mechanical components would be an added advantage.
* 2-5 years working experience in manufacturing environment specializing in box build process.
* Ability to utilize latest CAD tools such as Pro/Engineer and statistical tools such as Minitab.
* Applicants must be willing to work in Bayan Lepas.
* Applicants should be Malaysian citizens or hold relevant residence status.
