DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Install, configure, administer and maintain AIX Servers to provide high systems availability to users.
2. Manage all the equipment and undertake maintenance as when necessary.
3. Meet user requirement by evaluating and deploying suitable solutions to meet the SLAs.
4. Provide quick backup recovery, as when required.
5. Capacity and performance management
6. Conduct root cause analysis and trouble shooting of the problems.
7. Perform basic network support.
REQUIREMENTS:
1. Degree or Diploma holders in IT, Engineering, Science or any of its equivalents discipline.
2. Preferably 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience
3. Hands on experience on at least 2 of the followings:
a. Support HACMP for AIX environment
b. Support RS/6000 Storage Software
c. Support AIX platform
d. Performance tuning
e. Hardware and Software components implementation
4. A self-initiated and pro-active team player who can work with minimal supervision.
5. Good interpersonal and communication skills.
6. Analytical and strong troubleshooting capability.
