Requirements:
- This incumbent shall provide customer service excellence through seamless internal provisioning workflows and also act as the central liaison entity for region wide deployments between the various in-countries Network Operations Centre and NetAdmin teams. The incumbent shall assist in the troubleshooting of customer’s circuits and connectivity issues and aim to resolve them in the fastes possible time.
- Job Responsibilities:
- Provide internal provisioning includes grooming circuits, PE interfaces, tunnel interfaces, MPLS, IP VON and also Netscreen firewalls (and Cisco ISR) configurations
- Perform local UAT tests for all circuits provisioned
- Responsible for executing change requests initiated by customers
- Act as level 2 customer support and trouble ticket escalation. Assist customers and Tier 1 NROC in the troubleshooting and rectification of the customer’s network connectivity issues. The team may also at times,be required to answer customers’ queries about their current network network setup
- Provide engineering resources for standby purposes to assist customers if there’s a need. These can be for new circuit provisioning or migration
- Act as the central control for all regional provisioning includes the monitoring, tracking and management of provisioning progress, issues and UAT plans from the local in-country provisioning teams
- Involve in the evaluation of any future IP based services products
- Job Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Computer Science
- Min. 2 – 3 years experience in network operations, design and planning , Internet Service Provider environment would be added advantage
- Experience in operating both Cisco and Juniper network equipments
- Strong routing and switching practical knowledge and experience
- Ability to identify and quickly resolve problems impacting the customer
- Excellent time-management and multi-tasking
- Scripting skills in Perl or UNIX shell
- Preferably from ISP environment
- Good team player and provide guidance to junior engineers
