Data Centre Administrators

Technologies/Functional Expertise: IT Management/Windows Desktop Operations
Domain: IT Infrastructure
IT experience on the infrastructure side with good experience in Windows platform & Desktop Opernations
Ability to work in a blended team with varied experience
Ability to understand the client requirements and deliver the on time and ensure quality deliverable
Ability to interface with the customer
Key skills required: (in the order of priority)
• Windows Desktop Opernations
• Communication skills
• Customer orientation
Good Technical Skills in Windows Domain ( MS Windows 2000 Server, Microsoft Exchange Server)
* Hardware knowledge of server class machines
* Basic knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory
* Should have managed a datacentre operations for atleast 1 year
*Installation of Server class machines
* Linux (or) Network (or) Unix Knowledge is a Plus
* Good Operational Skills
* Good Backup Operations Skills, like managing tapes, inserting tapes for scheduled backups and restores.
*Customer Centric approach.
* Monitoring understanding of CPU, Memory and Network Utilization of servers and escalate as per escalation matrix defined.
* Knowledge on English would be preferred.
* Microsoft Certification will be preferred.
* Basic Knowledge on RAID configurations
