Operation Coordinator Job (Mining Drilling Services) @ Monroe Consulting Group

Monroe Consulting is currently working on behalf of our esteemed client, a US-based mining drilling services company looking to fill the job of Operation Coordinator, to be based in Gosowong, North Maluku, Indonesia. This position will report to the Site Manager in Gosowong and will have the duty of acting as a liaison between the company and the client to ensure that drill holes reach planned targets in the allocated time, in a cost effective and safe manner to make certain that the client’s expectations are achieved and exceeded. The role is required to follow the site manager of Gosowong with all project requirements.

Key job responsibilities include:

Report to Site Manager and support manager with all project requirements

Work cooperatively with operations management team on site

Promote and assist effective on-the-job learning and development of operational employees

Identify risks, hazards and ensure corrections are implemented

Provide leadership on operational matters incl. drilling technical issues, drills and ancillary equipment, and ensuring competency development

Assist in ensuring HSE policy and procedure is effectively communicated and implemented

Set performance expectations for employees and manage appropriately

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in related field

Seven years’ experience in an operational field environment

Strong knowledge of drilling

Ability in effective project management

Excellent communication skills

Effective time and priority management

Able to operate computers
